Seashore Policies and Procedures

Smoking
This is a non smoking unit! A $100 cleaning fee will be added to your bill if smoke is detected in the condo upon your departure.

Pets
Pets are not allowed.
 

Parking
We only have one parking stall at the Seashore and you must either book this at the time of your reservation or reserve the space ahead of time preferably one week before you arrive. We only have one stall at the Seashore Garage at it is a compact spaces so please consider small to compact vehicles. You may not park elsewhere as those stalls belong to other owners and you will be towed at your expense. Please do not leave valuables in the vehicle. Please also take great care when you are entering and exiting the Seashore Garage as we are not responsible for any damages to your vehicle or any parked vehicles. Please also note that since parking is limited in Waikiki, sometimes persons park illegally in our space. In this event you may contact the building manager onsite in apartment # 26 to have the vehicle removed. You may also contact us to notify us of this issue.

Security Deposit
Credit card information should be furnished at the time of your booking. Tenants/guests are responsible for all damages and for missing items. Damage and breakage caused by a tenant/guest should be reported immediately. Tenants/guests assume liability for any damage to condos or contents. Security deposits will no longer be charged to your credit card, however, if there are damages you will be billed accordingly.
 

Cancellations
All cancellations must be in writing (E-mail OK) and received 30 days prior to arrival. Full refund of the cost of your reservation will be funded within 90 days, 60 days, and 31  days of arrival upon notification, minus a $50.00 processing fee . All refunds will be made by credit back to card on file. If reservations are canceled less than 30 days prior to the arrival date no refunds will be made.The same policy applies if you check in and decide to cancel after you have checked in. In this case please give us every effort to resolve issues before you decide to cancel because you are aware of the policy. You may purchase travelers insurance ahead of time from companies like Travel Guard (800-826-4919) or insuremytrip.com (800-551-4635) or to cover the cost of your rental should you have to cancel. We will not make a refund so plan accordingly. 

No-show
Seashore Vacations Hawaii is a small company and cancellations and no-shows affect us greatly! We will charge your credit card for the entire stay including tax as noted on your invoice if you fail to show up on your scheduled arrival date and have not notified us of a cancellation.The same policy applies if you check in and decide to cancel after you have checked in because you will not be staying for the duration of your booking.

Cleaning Fee
A $75 cleaning fee is required for all stays. 

Daily Cleaning
There is no daily housekeeping service. For your convenience, extra linens and cleaning supplies are provided. Coin-operated laundry facilities are located in the building. Washing of bed linens and towels prior to departure is not required. However, if you stay will be longer than 14 days, you may need to use the laundry facilities to clean your own linens(monthly).

Check-in and Check-out times
For your convenience, check-in time can be earlier than 4:00 PM  provided that we can accommodate this with departing guests and cleaning schedules. Check-out time is 11:00 am unless previous arrangements have been made. We make every attempt to accommodate guests promptly upon arrival, but due to scheduling and room cleaning, there may be a delay in gaining access to your room if arriving prior to 4:00 PM. We appreciate your understanding and thank you in advance.

Please be advised that since this is a private condominium, there is no storage for your luggage after you check-out. If your travel arrangements require a late departure and you wish to retain your luggage in the condo, we suggest you book an additional night's stay. Please also be aware if you don’t check out on time, a $20 per half hour fee will be assessed. Please also be consider of arriving guest and check out on time as the unit must be cleaned before.

Noise Concerns
These condos are located in a residential building. We kindly ask you to be respectful of your neighbors in condos surrounding the one you rent. Quiet hours in the building are from 11:00 PM to 7:00 am. Late night parties and loud discussions on the lanais after 10:00 PM will not be tolerated.

Additional Guest                                                      
If you arrive with additional guests over the number of guests quoted in your original invoice, or additional guests join you during your stay, you will be charged an additional rate of $25 per day per additional guest for the length of their stay in the condo. No more than 3 people can occupy the condo at any time.
 

Lost Keys
Lost keys will be replaced at a cost of $5.00 each and will be charged to your account. Lost security keys(large silver key)  are $100 so please secure this one carefully. This is the key that opens the building lock.
 

Lockout Charges
Please keep a key with you at all times to prevent accidental lockouts. In the unfortunate event you're locked out of the condo without keys, a $25 lockout charge will be assessed for someone to come and let you in your property, regardless of circumstances. It is the responsibility of all occupants and guests of the condo to verify when leaving they have their keys, and the door to the condo is properly closed and locked.

Items Left in Unit
Seashore Vacations Hawaii cannot be held responsible for personal items left in rental units. However, we will make every prudent effort to return items to you, given prompt notification of loss. Please let us know what you forgot within 14 days of your departure if you wish your property returned. We'll ship to you, and ask you to pay the cost of shipping.
 

Trash
It is the responsibility of each tenant/guest to dispose of his or her garbage. Trash must be discarded on the ground floor outside the building in the green rubbish bin. Please remove all perishable foods. Dry foods like rice, flour, or packaged soups can remain for the incoming guest. Liquids like seasonings, oils, mayo, ketchup and things are also okay. If you are leaving behind liquor please make sure it is unopened. Frozen items and foods can also remain as long as it is not expiring in the immediate future. We do like to recycle. All trash should be removed from the condo upon departure.
 

Injury
Seashore Vacations Hawaii will not be responsible for accidents that occurred on or because of rental property. Owner(s) will not be held responsible for acts of theft or vandalism or damage to guests’ personal property.

 Severe Weather and Refund Policy
Refunds will not be given for late arrivals or early departures due to severe weather. If hurricanes or other extreme weather conditions occur and you choose to leave before the end of your reservation, no refund will be given. Similarly refunds will not be given for power outages or digital cable/telephone service outages that are beyond our control. Please note that cable, telephone, and internet service interruptions can occur beyond our control, but we will make every effort to contact the vendor and keep you up to date on when services will be restored if interrupted. We are not liable for these service interruptions.
 

Occupancy and Age Requirements
The maximum number of persons (2) allowed in each property is stated in the property description and on your Rental Agreement & Confirmation. Children are counted unless under the age of one (1). This represents the total number of people allowed to occupy the property inside or outside, day or night. Hide-a-beds (leather ottoman) are included in capacity..

We are very serious about maintaining a family atmosphere for the quiet enjoyment of our guests. We do not rent to groups of teenagers with or without chaperones regardless of whether the chaperones are parents of one of the teenagers. We will rent to family groups, married couples, and RESPONSIBLE ADULTS over the age of 25. Any reservation made under false pretenses will be subject to forfeiture of advance payment of rent and deposit, and the party will not be permitted to check in. Violation of this policy will result in immediate eviction without refund of rent.

NO SHOES ARE TO BE WORN IN CONDO EVER. IT’S HAWAIIAN CUSTOM. PLEASE REMOVE THEM AT THE DOOR.

  • Check Out Procedures
     Check-out time is 11:00 am.
    Close the sliding door.
  • Remove all trash from the kitchen and bathroom and dispose of in the green garbage bin on the ground floor outside of the building.
  • Kitchens must be left clean! Please wipe counter surfaces before leaving. Please wipe countertop burner or range/oven if used.
  • Empty the coffee maker and dispose of coffee grinds.
  • Clean all soiled dishes, dry, and put away neatly.
  • Remove and dispose of all perishables from the refrigerator.
  • Dining tables and night stands should be wiped clean.
  • Remove all personal belongings from closet and dresser drawers.
  • Place all soiled towels in the bathtub.
  • It is not necessary to strip bed linens or launder sheets and towels.
  • Do not launder comforters or pillow shams as these items are dry-cleaned.
  • Turn off TV and all electronics.
  • If furniture has been moved please relocate it to the position you found it in when you checked in. 
  • Turn off air conditioner .
  • Turn off all lights.
  • Lock door and put keys back in lock box. 
  • Make sure you scramble combination dial and close lock box shuttter door..
  • We reserve the right to change policies, prices, descriptions and condo availability without prior notice. Thank you very much for your cooperation and for choosing to stay with us!
